About the job
Our client is an internationally renowned traditional company in the food and beverage industry with a significant production site in the Surselva region (GR). Where thousands of products are bottled daily, the technology must run smoothly. This is exactly where a special challenge awaits you: Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a genuine industry professional who not only maintains the status quo but also significantly helps to gradually rebuild and modernise our proven, older systems.
You are not looking for a sterile new-build hall, but real industrial mechanics and control technology to get hands-on with? You appreciate the advantages (and peculiarities) of an alpine mountain region? Then you are in the right place!
Operations Electrician / Automation Technician (m/f/d)
Here you are in your element
- You are the technical lifesaver of production: independent troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and servicing of the bottling and production systems
- Retrofit instead of just repair: You accompany the conversion and technical renewal of older machines and bring them up to the latest standard
- You systematically search for faults in the controls (Siemens PLC S7 / TIA Portal) and resolve them sustainably
- You work hand in hand in a family-like, interdisciplinary maintenance team (5-6 mechanics and electricians including team leader)
You contribute to the high system availability in a 2-shift operation (early/late) as well as during regular on-call duties
What you can look forward to
- An extremely crisis-proof workplace with a well-known and traditional producer, firmly rooted in the Swiss mountain world
- An attractive, fair salary package plus generous shift and on-call allowances
- Newcomers welcome: For the first few months, a company apartment can be made available to you on site without complications until you have settled in
- A thorough induction into the specific systems by long-standing, experienced team colleagues
- An uncomplicated working atmosphere in a team that sticks together and gets things done
Qualifications
This is your toolkit for this job
- Your foundation: A completed training as an automation technician, electrician or operations electrician
- You are an industry professional: You must have experience from the industrial / manufacturing environment
- You hold the connection permit NIV 13 (the operations electrician permit NIV 15 is a strong plus)
- You have good user knowledge in PLC control technology (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal)
- You are rooted in the region or know exactly what it means to live and work in a mountain region (Canton Graubünden)
- Fluent German skills, a driving licence and your own car are prerequisites for this position
