Childcare facilities in school environments (APEMS) are one of the key links in Lausanne's family policy. Located near schools, APEMS meet the needs of families in the various districts of the city and are situated in the heart of the neighbourhoods, close to or within the school establishments. They offer quality educational supervision.

The APEMS of Bourdonnette, located in the south of the city, welcomes more than seventy children aged 4 to 10 every day. At the head of an out-of-school structure composed of about ten professionals, you ensure a central role of management and coordination. Your leadership allows everyone to find their place, to unite a team and to fully contribute to a shared educational project. You are a person who gives meaning to collective action, uniting the skills and energies of a team around a shared vision, in order to bring to life a coherent and meaningful project for the children, families and partners of the neighbourhood.

Main mission(s)

Manage the out-of-school structure to ensure the safety, well-being and quality of services for the children welcomed

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team

Guarantee and assume the administrative and financial management of the structure

Develop an educational project including families, professional and associative partners

Be responsible for the application of the reception concept (downloadable on the website www.lausanne.ch/apems)

Profile

HES/ES diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification

CAS in team management and project leadership mandatory

Confirmed professional experience in team management of at least 5 years

Minimum 5 years of professional educational experience in the field of childhood since obtaining the required qualification

Professional experience in participatory development of educational projects

Knowledge of issues related to collective out-of-school care is an asset

Proven organisational skills

Leadership ability and team spirit

Systemic vision and critical thinking

Excellent command of MS Office tools

Special conditions
