The Human Resources Department (HRD) of the City of Geneva supports the human resources management of more than 4,000 employees distributed across six departments, covering a wide range of activity areas. This service, made up of around seventy people, provides cross-functional HR services in various fields such as training, occupational health and safety, as well as the promotion of equality and diversity in the workplace. Your mission and responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects linked to the City’s HR master plan, from planning key stages to defining deliverables, including facilitating working groups composed of experts.
- Advise the service management by providing expertise and recommendations.
- Ensure regular reporting on project progress, challenges encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Animate and unite multidisciplinary teams by creating a collaborative dynamic, facilitating exchanges, and fostering consensus among stakeholders.
- Coordinate project deployment by ensuring implementation, contributing to the definition of communication plans, and guaranteeing the conformity of deliverables as well as respect for deadlines and budgets.
- Anticipate and control project-related risks by identifying potential obstacles, proposing appropriate corrective measures, and securing the achievement of objectives.
Your profile
- Hold a university Master’s degree in human resources or project management.
- Have at least 5 years of confirmed experience in project management within an HR environment, preferably within a public administration or an autonomous public institution.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage priorities effectively and operate in a complex and demanding environment.
- Be able to lead cross-functional projects and coordinate multiple and varied stakeholders.
- Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with collaborative leadership and the ability to unite.
- Adopt a proactive, results-oriented attitude.
- Possess strong analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
