Senior Linux & Kubernetes Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the operational management and technical development of modern Linux and Kubernetes platforms
Building and maintaining automated operational processes with Ansible, AWX and Infrastructure as Code
Development and optimisation of CI/CD workflows on Forgejo as well as support for development and application teams
Analysis and resolution of faults, performance and operational issues including monitoring, 2nd-level support and lifecycle management
Implementation of security and compliance requirements, including system hardening, vulnerability management as well as management of certificates, secrets and privileged access
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience with Linux and Kubernetes, ideally in highly available 7x24 environments
Very good knowledge of Red Hat, SUSE, Rancher/RKE2, Ansible and AWX
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
Understanding of network, DNS, load balancing, firewalls and platform security
Technical training or equivalent professional experience, independent and solution-oriented working style, German at C2 level and good English skills; willingness to be on call
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
