In the hospital kitchen, where up to 1300 meals are prepared daily for patients and our staff, there is a rush during main meal times. In the apprenticeship as a chef, you will learn about the various professional areas of a hospital kitchen, which particularly focuses on a balanced and healthy diet. You will be trained in all areas of the modern kitchen, including patisserie, cold kitchen, hot kitchen, as well as the staff restaurant and catering. You will gain special insight into the modern cook and chill process. The apprenticeship as a chef requires quick comprehension, manual dexterity, creativity, and willingness for flexible deployment.

What distinguishes you

• You have completed compulsory schooling at level E (grade 4.5 or higher in mathematics)
• You are responsible, independent, careful, (physically) resilient, as well as a team player and persistent
• Good manners and a neat appearance are natural to you
• Enjoyment in handling food
• Minimum age 16 years

• School reports from the last four semesters and compulsory school leaving certificate
• Work references/internship confirmations (if available)
• Result sheet aptitude test (Multicheck trade or Check S2/S3)
