You are responsible for the stable and secure operation of the server, virtualisation, storage, and backup platforms and continuously develop them in terms of availability and performance.
Around the workplace, you provide workstations and peripheral devices, take over their configuration and maintenance, and handle technical issues in 1st and 2nd level support.
With targeted automations, you standardise processes in infrastructure and workplace; at the same time, you contribute to IT projects and the further development of the existing system landscape.
You co-manage user accounts and access rights. Support cases, solutions, and relevant technical information are clearly documented by you in the documentation.
In the regular on-call service, you contribute to the availability of systems outside regular operations.

The basis is a completed IT apprenticeship or a comparable qualification through several years of relevant professional experience; solid knowledge in workplace, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, storage, and backup is required.
Ideally, you are familiar with hybrid environments with on-premises systems and Azure Cloud and have already worked with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Ansible.
For automation tasks, you bring experience with PowerShell and understand the technical interrelations between end devices and central infrastructure.
You combine an independent and precise working style with initiative, commitment, and good conceptual skills; a valid category B driving licence is available.
Fluent written and spoken German and technical English in speech and writing complete your profile.
Benefits:
- Participation in health measures

- Home office
