Container platforms are the backbone of modern application landscapes. As a Cloud-Native Platform Engineer, you operate a productive Kubernetes environment and further develop it technically. Automation, stability, and security are central. You work closely with development and application teams and contribute your own ideas.
Responsibilities:
You operate and maintain the container-based platform based on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
You analyse incidents as well as performance and stability issues and resolve them sustainably.
Furthermore, you support application teams with deployment, operation, and optimisation of containerised applications.
You independently drive the automation and standardisation of operational processes.
You actively participate in the development of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
Additionally, you implement security and compliance requirements and occasionally take on on-call duties.
Qualifications:
You have experience in operating or expanding container platforms.
Linux system administration is one of your strengths.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI or ArgoCD, is an advantage.
You are also interested in observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
You have already worked with automation and infrastructure as code, for example Ansible.
You work in a structured way, think analytically, and communicate confidently in German.
