The Regional Association for Social Action (ARAS) Jura–Nord Vaudois brings together
73 municipalities - serving a population of approx. 96,730 inhabitants - which have united to offer the public a platform of services related to social and family affairs.
The activities of our inter-municipal Association and Daycare Networks for Children (AJE) are experiencing continuous growth. In this context, we are looking for a:
Head of Collective Reception for the AJERCO Network at 80%
General Mission
Reporting to the AJE Management, you supervise the collective day reception structures for children (AJE) within the AJERCO network. This includes eleven nurseries and nine after-school care units (UAPE). In this role, you are responsible for the quality and compliance with regulatory frameworks of the services offered within the network's reception structures. You lead the managers of the structures reporting to you in the development and coordination of their activities. You support them with any organisational, educational, or personnel management issues.
As a source of proposals and initiatives, you provide your expertise to management by supporting decision-making with well-founded elements. You ensure the implementation of decisions made, embody the institutional vision, and unite your team behind it. Furthermore, you monitor the evolution of legal regulations in early childhood and ensure their proper application.
You promote and maintain good relationships with all internal and external partners. Your role also includes tasks such as defining and improving processes, project management, and facilitating meetings. Finally, you are responsible for the quality of services offered within the AJERCO network as well as for promoting and maintaining good relations with all internal and external partners.
Desired Profile
You hold a higher professional or university degree in human sciences or a university of applied sciences degree in the educational or social field, complemented by management training or are willing to obtain it after starting the position.
You have proven experience in the field of childhood, as well as in team leadership and sector management.
Your ability to identify key issues in the field allows you to take relevant initiatives and implement appropriate actions.
With strong analytical and synthesis skills, you know how to set priorities and demonstrate excellent organisational skills. You are also comfortable managing particularly complex and demanding situations.
Recognised for your interpersonal ease and excellent communication skills, you particularly enjoy teamwork and integrate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
You are proficient in MS Office software. Knowledge of the specialised software "CSE KIBE" is an asset.
