In this role, you ensure that the digital workplace functions smoothly and that modern collaboration runs reliably in the background. You support operational IT with a focus on end user support, user and permission management, as well as hardware and workplace services, and handle incidents and service requests in a structured manner during daily operations. You assist employees with hardware and software issues, implement onboarding and offboarding as well as user changes, and maintain user accounts, roles, and access rights. Additionally, you prepare end devices, manage workplaces and meeting room technology, document thoroughly, and consistently adhere to defined security and compliance requirements. With your interest in stable processes, careful working style, and service orientation, you contribute decisively to the quality and continuity of IT services.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring professional user support and independently handling technical issues at 1st and 2nd level concerning hardware and software
Managing the entire user lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding, user changes, as well as administration of roles, access rights, and licences
Organising and providing modern IT workplaces from end devices and printers to the technical equipment of meeting rooms
Ensuring high service quality through comprehensible documentation, compliance with relevant security requirements, and continuous optimisation of support processes
Qualifications:
Completed training in the IT field or a comparable qualification as well as practical experience in user support or end user computing
Good understanding of user, role, and permission concepts as well as interest in structured and reliable IT operational processes
Strong service orientation and enjoyment in addressing technical issues clearly and solution-oriented
Reliable and communicative team player with a careful working style and good German and English skills
