Role:

For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual for a versatile role in finance and accounting. You can expect an international environment where you will be responsible for Swiss financial processes while working closely with international specialists. You will combine operational accounting tasks with financial statements, tax matters, group-wide financial processes, and the continuous development of existing structures.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the ongoing financial accounting of the Swiss company and ensure correct and timely processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management

• You coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and contribute to the preparation of statutory and internal financial reports

• You ensure compliance with requirements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), tax requirements, as well as internal guidelines and control processes

• You coordinate intercompany reconciliations, consolidation issues, and cross-border financial processes between different companies

• You manage tax-related accounting topics such as VAT, corporate taxes, withholding tax, and transfer pricing and collaborate with external specialists

• You coordinate tasks related to customs and trade compliance, including import and export documentation and cooperation with external customs authorities

• You identify optimisation potentials and contribute to the further development of financial processes, internal controls, reporting, and ERP solutions

Qualifications:

• You hold the Swiss federal diploma in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification

• You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting

• You have solid knowledge of Swiss accounting according to OR and several years of experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• You are familiar with internal control systems as well as Swiss tax and compliance requirements and ideally have experience in an SME environment

• Fluent German skills and good English skills are required
