Role:
Our client is an established Swiss specialist in international mechanical and plant engineering and develops high-performance production systems for demanding industrial applications. With high manufacturing competence, modern automation technologies and a consistent quality orientation, the company realises individual solutions for customers worldwide. International projects and close cooperation between various departments characterise the employer.
Responsibilities:
Commercially record and process incoming spare parts orders.
Plan international deliveries and coordinate with the involved transport partners.
Prepare shipping documents and customs papers completely.
Monitor the status of open orders and track delivery deviations.
Check compliance with legal requirements in export matters.
Respond directly to customer enquiries regarding order status and shipping.
Keep master data and order information up to date in the ERP system.
Review existing processes in export and shipping for optimisation possibilities.
Qualifications:
Completed apprenticeship in commercial or technical field.
Further training in foreign trade or export processing is an advantage.
Experience with international goods deliveries, ideally in spare parts business.
Sound knowledge in export administration and customs.
Confident handling of company merchandise management systems.
Independent prioritisation and reliable processing of ongoing business.
Strong service orientation and clear communication.
English skills for communication with international business partners.
