Local Operation Team Leader
Workplace: Nant de Drance Plant, Le Châtelard-Village, municipality of Finhaut (VS)
Your mission:
As a local operation team leader, you supervise and support the availability, reliability, and safety of the equipment at the Nant de Drance power station.
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance work as well as rehabilitation and renewal of installations
- Support and substitute the local operation manager in organising, planning, and directing maintenance and rehabilitation work
- Lead the work and personnel on assigned sites
- Place orders for materials and tools
- Ensure the follow-up of technical documentation of installations within the area of activity
- Actively participate in the safety of people, property, and the environment and ensure the application and compliance with safety directives and measures
- Provide on-call service (average of 6 weeks per year)
Your skills:
- Federal VET diploma in a mechanical or electrical field or an equivalent trade
- Federal maintenance agent certificate or willingness to obtain it
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a hydroelectric facility, industrial production, or high voltage field is an asset
- Experience in team management
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Stress resistance, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
- Native French speaker with good knowledge of English and/or German is an asset
