Senior System Engineer - MS Managed Services (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 130,000Our partner is an established IT service company in the field of Managed Cloud & Outsourcing Services. They operate several hundred servers in their own data centres and offer state-of-the-art IT service solutions in the areas of storage, backup, networking, archiving, security, etc.
The implementation of IT projects with subsequent operation and maintenance requires profound expertise, extensive experience, process mastery, creativity, and absolute reliability. The demanding clientele of our partner expects innovative IT services and solutions with the highest availability and security.
Role:
You take on the technical responsibility for your own customer portfolio and ensure that their IT environments remain reliable, secure, and future-proof. In doing so, you combine operational engineering with continuous optimisation, coordinate technical concerns, and develop suitable solutions together with internal specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
Assuming the main technical responsibility for assigned customers, including deputising
Comprehensive support and further development of IT infrastructures based on Microsoft 365, Azure and other Microsoft technologies
Analysis, prioritisation, and sustainable resolution of incidents, requests and changes
Systematic troubleshooting across various infrastructure and system levels
Close coordination with engineering and service management to ensure high service quality
Occasional on-site deployments to analyse the customer environment and implement technical solutions
Identification of optimisation potentials as well as standardisation and automation of recurring processes
Participation in IT projects and independent implementation of sub-projects
Identification and implementation of AI-supported use cases in IT operations and ticket processing
Qualifications:
Education in computer science, preferably system engineering or platform development
Several years of experience in system engineering or IT operations
Profound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and IT infrastructure
Experience with complex system landscapes and structured troubleshooting
Initial experience with automation, standardisation or AI applications
Customer-oriented communication and independent, structured working style
High sense of responsibility and enjoyment of teamwork
Driving licence category B
Very good German skills and good English skills
