Export Specialist 80% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Monitoring compliance with applicable customs regulations in international goods movements
Providing professional support to internal departments on questions regarding tariff classification, origin, and trade agreements
Checking and posting import duties and related documents
Coordinating goods origin and customs tariff data with the responsible export offices
Organising and procuring suitable import transports
Checking incoming logistics invoices and authorising payments
Implementing customs simplifications and utilising existing preferential arrangements
Taking over export tasks during absences and preparing transport declarations
Qualifications:
Completed further training as a foreign trade specialist with a federal diploma
Several years of practical experience in international goods handling
Sound knowledge of Swiss and international customs law
Understanding of preferential origins and free trade agreements
Independent working style with a structured approach
Reliability in handling customs-relevant documents and data
Confident and professional manner towards authorities and external parties
Good English skills in spoken and written form as well as fluent German
