Role:

For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual for a versatile position in international accounting. You will take responsibility for the reliable handling of accounting processes and ensure the correct processing of financial matters. Furthermore, you will contribute to optimising existing procedures and support the continuous development of structures and processes in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• You coordinate the monthly closing activities and ensure complete and timely processing

• You check bookings and account reconciliations, analyse discrepancies, and ensure high data quality in the general ledger

• You prepare financial reports and analyses and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and relevant accounting requirements

• You support the team in accounts payable and financial accounting and are available as a contact person for technical questions

• You participate in budget and forecast processes and provide the necessary financial basis for planning

• You analyse existing procedures, identify optimisation potentials, and further develop processes, policies, and documentation

• You contribute to financial projects and the implementation of new solutions and support various issues in international accounting

Qualifications:

• You have completed a degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable field or have equivalent professional training

• You bring several years of practical experience in finance and accounting and have sound knowledge in the further development of accounting processes

• You work very confidently with Excel and are familiar with common ERP and accounting systems; knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage

• You communicate fluently in German and English
