Role:
Good IT support arises where technology and people come together. This is exactly where you start as a Junior Infrastructure Engineer and take on your own client mandates early on. In everyday life, you will encounter Windows and macOS equally, complemented by AI-supported tools. Experienced colleagues will accompany you and help you to specifically develop your skills. With every case solved, your know-how grows and so does your responsibility.
Responsibilities:
As the first point of contact, you personally support customers on site and via remote maintenance.
You diagnose technical problems and find sustainable solutions.
You actively participate in the design and construction of new IT infrastructures.
In addition, you independently manage your support mandates with a focus on high service quality.
You use current technologies and AI applications to make processes smarter.
You also continuously exchange ideas with your team and tackle tricky cases together.
Qualifications:
A completed basic IT education, such as an IT specialist EFZ, or a comparable qualification forms your foundation.
You feel comfortable in both Microsoft and Apple environments.
You bring practical experience with virtualisation based on VMware ESXi or Hyper-V, as well as a solid basic understanding of networks.
Carefulness and a structured way of working are natural to you, and customer satisfaction is close to your heart.
You communicate effortlessly and precisely in German, both orally and in writing.
In addition, you bring curiosity, adaptability and joy in collaboration, and your humour enriches everyday team life.
