You are someone who easily masters different software platforms and approaches unique challenges with your analytical sensitivity. In this role as IT System Engineer, you take responsibility for earning our customers’ trust with your competent manner and creative ideas. You are the first point of contact when it comes to installing new PCs or fixing printers. With your know-how, you make a reliable contribution to high service and support quality. You bring your skills and experience as a professional to best support our customers.
Responsibilities:
You develop our modern client and workplace platform with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and other components of the Microsoft platform
In this role, you shape the entire client lifecycle, from provisioning and configuration through software distribution and patch management to security and lifecycle management
As an IT System Engineer, you automate recurring processes and continuously develop our client and workplace management processes
You analyse new requirements, develop technical solutions, and implement them independently
In this role, you support our IT support as an engineering escalation point and ensure sustainable solutions for demanding technical problems
As an IT System Engineer, you occasionally take on tasks in our hybrid infrastructure, for example in the areas of Windows Server, virtualisation, backup, monitoring, Azure, Microsoft 365, or Exchange
Qualifications:
You have a solid education or degree in computer science
You bring several years of practical experience in client or modern workplace engineering
You have experience in several of the following areas: Unified Endpoint Management, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Azure
You have a solid understanding of classic IT infrastructures and feel comfortable in a hybrid environment of cloud and on-premises
You enjoy analysing technical problems in depth and prefer to develop sustainable solutions rather than just fixing symptoms
You work independently and in a structured manner, share your knowledge within the team, and enjoy trying out and productively using new technologies
You are fluent in German
