Foreign Trade Specialist in Internal Sales (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the professional handling of international customer orders and ensure that export, shipping, and customs processes are carried out correctly, efficiently, and on time.
You are the central contact person for customers, sales partners, freight forwarders, authorities, and internal departments and actively contribute your expertise in foreign trade to the further development of existing processes.
Responsibilities:
You manage international customer orders from quotation to invoicing
You prepare and check export, shipping, and customs documents
You coordinate international deliveries and work closely with freight forwarders
You ensure compliance with relevant export and customs regulations
You monitor delivery dates, orders, and open quotations
You advise internal and external contacts on export-related issues
You contribute to the optimisation of export and foreign trade processes
Qualifications:
You have a commercial basic education as well as further training as a foreign trade specialist with a federal diploma or a comparable qualification
You bring solid experience in export and foreign trade processing
You are familiar with customs, shipping, and export documents as well as international delivery processes
You communicate very well in German and English; French is an advantage
You work confidently with ERP systems and MS Office
You convince through a structured, independent, and service-oriented working style
You enjoy working across departments and taking responsibility
