Microsoft Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
You want to not only administer Microsoft technologies but actively implement demanding transformations? We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who technically leads cloud migrations, Microsoft 365, and modern system architectures and supports customers in the further development of their IT.
Responsibilities:
Technical leadership and implementation of demanding Microsoft migration projects
Planning and realisation of modern Microsoft 365 and cloud architectures
Migration of existing on-premises environments to hybrid and cloud-based platforms
Building and optimisation of Windows Server and client infrastructures
Design of modern remote desktop and virtual desktop solutions
Administration and further development of Microsoft 365
Analysis of existing IT landscapes and development of future-proof target architectures
Planning and implementation of network and security components
Support of firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructures, and secure remote access
Further development of RMM, monitoring, and observability platforms
Independent analysis of complex faults across various infrastructure layers
Direct technical advice and support in demanding customer situations
Documentation of architectures, migrations, and technical standards
Automation of recurring administration and operational tasks
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in system engineering or infrastructure engineering
Solid experience with Microsoft technologies and complex IT environments
Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Client
Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud migrations
Experience with virtualisation and hybrid infrastructures
Knowledge of networking, firewalling, and enterprise connectivity
Experience with Remote Desktop Services or comparable virtual desktop technologies
Understanding of modern monitoring, RMM, and automation solutions
Analytical strength in complex technical fault patterns
High customer orientation and enjoyment of direct technical exchange
Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
