As a first-tier supplier of our renowned business partner, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Basel, we are immediately seeking a motivated and committed Construction Manager EMSR for a temporary assignment of 1 year, with the option of extension.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Construction site planning, organisation, leadership and coordination of the construction site
- Supervision of external company employees
- Quality control in the specialist trade automation, electrical as well as cross-disciplinary
- Reporting in coordination with the local engineering
- Implementation of construction site safety according to Roche specifications
- Commissioning and support of external companies until defect rectification
- Hand-over of the completed trade in cooperation with the local engineering
- Input in trade-specific planning (e.g. manufacturers, materials etc.)
- Input in planning regarding deadlines and construction process during the CC phase
- Control and evaluation of offers and specifications
- Obtaining offers and indicative price quotations
- Participation in awarding contracts to executing companies
- Reviewing / checking revision documents
Must Haves
- Completed vocational training and ideally further training or equivalent in the field of electrical engineering (PL / technician / master / HF electrical engineering)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project management of electrical and automation systems (EMSR)
- Experience as CM in the EMSR field and in the pharmaceutical environment is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of GMP
- Experience and work in the electrical installation sector in industry
- Knowledge of construction site safety
- Experience in construction site management
- Experience in project management
- Good knowledge of low-voltage installation standards NIN, NIV
- Good knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office, process engineering knowledge and SAP knowledge are desirable
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required, English and French skills are an advantage
Nice to haves
- Knowledge in occupational safety, SiGeKo or safety assistant/expert etc.
- Basic knowledge in fire protection, possibly courses concerning ventilation systems etc.
- Knowledge in construction site logistics
- Knowledge in plant automation, automation systems Siemens, Sauter etc.
- Knowledge in VT installations, pipe classes, standards etc.
- Knowledge of Roche documentation, Elvis, SAP, technical places etc.
