Senior Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you complement the technical managed services with your ideas and effort. For strategic and operational questions along the entire value chain, you develop, implement, and operate comprehensive IT solutions as a team.
Responsibilities:
Deployment in the service desk for 2nd and 3rd level support requests
Recording and classifying incoming reports
Analysing, resolving, and coordinating incident and problem tickets
Maintenance and operation of customer systems
Support, monitoring, updating, and maintenance of customer systems
Member of the on-call organisation
Qualifications:
- Completed IT education or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience, preferably in support/operations
- Very good expertise and several years of experience in supporting IT infrastructure solutions (client/server, storage, network)
- Experience in operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory Service (Microsoft MCSA, MCSE certification advantageous)
- Experience in operation and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere environments
- Experience in operation and troubleshooting of Veeam Backup & Replication solutions
- Linux experience (operation and support) advantageous
- Committed, communicative, and independent working style as well as a strong service and customer orientation
- ITIL knowledge (ITIL Foundation certification advantageous)
- Flawless German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
