Digital transformation does not start with technology but with the right projects. This position is aimed at experienced project professionals who translate strategic initiatives into concrete results and drive modern IT solutions together with specialist departments, technology partners, and management.
Responsibilities:
Management of strategically relevant digitalisation and IT initiatives
Development of project roadmaps from business requirements and technological possibilities
Support of complex transformations from the concept phase to sustainable anchoring
Translation of specialist challenges into concrete digital solution approaches
Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams and coordination of various stakeholders
Establishment of efficient governance structures for demanding technology projects
Management of budget, resources, deadlines, dependencies, and project risks
Conducting requirements analyses and prioritisation processes
Development of decision-making bases for management and steering committees
Support of cloud migrations and modern workplace initiatives
Management of projects related to data, automation, collaboration, and digital services
Collaboration with architecture, security, infrastructure, and application teams
Coordination of external partners and suppliers
Design of tenders, evaluations, and procurement processes
Establishment of modern project management standards and continuous optimisation of the project organisation
Promotion of a modern, agile, and results-oriented project culture
Qualifications:
Completed degree or higher professional training in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
Several years of experience as an IT project manager, senior project manager, programme manager, or transformation manager
Experience with complex IT and digitalisation projects
Broad understanding of cloud computing, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, and security
Confident handling of classic, agile, or hybrid project methods
Experience with HERMES, IPMA, PRINCE2, PMP, or comparable frameworks is an advantage
Experience in stakeholder management at specialist and management levels
Ability to assess technological developments in terms of business benefit and feasibility
Structured and pragmatic working style
High assertiveness combined with strong communication skills
Enjoyment of change, digitalisation, and modern working methods
