Role:

You don’t just want to manage cloud infrastructures but rethink them technically? In this role, you will further develop modern Azure platforms, automate complex processes, and ensure that cloud environments are operated securely, scalably, and efficiently. The focus is on cloud engineering, security, and the continuous modernisation of existing infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and further develop modern Azure infrastructures

• Planning and technical implementation of cloud migrations from traditional data centre environments

• Modernisation and refactoring of existing cloud architectures

• Development of scalable landing zones and standardised cloud platforms

• Implementation of cloud security concepts throughout the entire Azure lifecycle

• Building secure identity, network, and access structures

• Automation of infrastructure and operational processes with Infrastructure as Code

• Development of reusable Terraform and Bicep modules

• Automation of administrative processes with PowerShell

• Integration of Azure network architectures with enterprise networks and security platforms

• Optimisation of performance, availability, costs, and operational reliability

• Implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability concepts

• Use of AI and automation to optimise cloud operations

• Technical support of cloud transformations and architecture projects

• Evaluation of new Azure services and transition of useful technologies into productive operation

Qualifications:

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure

• Solid knowledge in cloud infrastructure and Azure architecture

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform or Bicep

• Good knowledge of PowerShell and automation

• Experience with cloud security and modern identity concepts

• Understanding of Azure networking, routing, VPN, and firewall architectures

• Ideally experience with Fortinet or comparable security platforms

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or comparable observability solutions

• Understanding of cloud governance, security, and FinOps

• Analytical and solution-oriented working style

• Enjoyment of technological advancement and automation

• An Azure certification such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500 is an advantage
