Hardware Engineer Embedded Systems (m/f/d)

Role:
You develop innovative embedded measurement technology products from the initial idea to series production. You combine solid expertise in analogue and digital electronics with practical experience in hardware development, PCB design, and product validation. As a technical contact person, you actively shape development projects and work closely with firmware, software, mechanics, and product management teams.
Responsibilities:
Development and optimisation of analogue and digital circuits for embedded measurement technology products
Technical leadership and support of development projects
Conceptualisation, design, and validation of hardware architectures and PCB layouts
Planning and execution of prototype tests, verifications, and product validations
Further development of existing products as well as support of production during series launches and fault analyses
Execution of EMC and radio measurements as well as technical coordination with testing and certification bodies
Conducting requirement engineering from requirements analysis to technical specification
Close collaboration with firmware, software, mechanics, and product management teams
Qualifications:
Completed studies in electrical engineering (BSc) or a comparable technical education
At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded systems development, ideally in an industrial environment
Solid knowledge in analogue and digital circuit technology as well as PCB design
Experience with EMC-compliant hardware development, verification, and product validation
Knowledge of technical approval and certification processes
Experience in technical project management is an advantage
Knowledge of NFC, Modbus, low-power technologies or LoRaWAN is an advantage
Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
