Technical Consultant/Data & ML Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF118,000 - 123,500Rocken® specialises in recruiting talents and experts from IT consulting and software engineering. Responsibilities:
You take responsibility for data-driven consulting mandates
You advise clients on the implementation of modern data storage solutions and technology selection
You assume content responsibility for technological subject areas
Variety and exciting collaboration in internal project teams as well as on-site with clients
Qualifications:
Degree from a (technical) university of applied sciences in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
More than 5 years of proven experience on relevant projects
Very good knowledge of SQL and Python
Practical experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Azure ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI
Solid knowledge of relevant technologies such as Spark, Hive, Apache Iceberg, Airflow, MageAI, Pandas, PySpark, or similar
Practical experience and good knowledge in building data lakes or data lakehouses
Practical experience with ETL and ELT processes
Experience with data technologies from one of the major cloud providers
Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
