Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a corporate group from the construction and architecture sector located in Herisau, we are seeking a qualified accounting professional by arrangement. You will work in the Group Services area for several companies within the group and take on versatile tasks in a motivated team. The position offers you a varied role with development opportunities, including a deputy function.
Responsibilities:
You assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as audits
You perform account reconciliations and prepare meaningful account analyses
You prepare VAT returns
You independently manage accounts payable and receivable accounting for several group companies
You monitor payment transactions and handle dunning as well as receivables management
You are responsible for the professional training of an apprentice in the finance area
You deputise for the head of finance
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as well as further training as an accounting clerk
You bring at least two years of professional experience in finance and accounting
You work confidently with MS Office, especially Excel, as well as with ERP systems, preferably Abacus
You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
