An experienced individual is sought as a Senior DevOps Engineer for demanding IT projects. In this role, you will work in a technically proficient team on modern software and integration solutions and take responsibility for stable, automated, and scalable platforms.
The environment combines container technologies, microservices, and modern DevOps toolchains. At the same time, the position offers plenty of room to learn new technologies, contribute your own ideas, and implement high-quality solutions together as a team.
Responsibilities:
Participation in demanding and large software projects within an agile DevOps team
Operation, configuration, and further development of Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms
Support in implementing modern microservice architectures and containerised applications
Building and optimising CI/CD processes as well as automating development and operational workflows
Collaboration with development, operations, and other project teams to implement robust technical solutions
Analysis of technical challenges and development of simple, sustainable solutions with high quality standards
Qualifications:
University degree in computer science or a comparable technical education
At least 5 years of practical experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and microservices
Basic knowledge of message broker technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence as well as interest in Ansible and Python
Fluent German skills at least at B2 level and good English skills
