Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for a professionally competent individual to lead the group-wide accounting. In this newly created role, you will assume overall professional responsibility for accounting and report directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the financial accounting within the entire corporate group and support the companies with all accounting matters
You are responsible for the preparation and quality assurance of the financial statements and ensure correct recording of business transactions according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
You take on the digitalisation of financial processes and support the implementation of new reporting solutions
You ensure the correct handling of VAT and tax-related matters and coordinate cooperation with the auditors and authorities
You lead and develop the accounting team of 2 employees, support them professionally in daily business and take an active role in complex issues
Qualifications:
You have a further education in finance and accounting, for example the Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting, the Swiss Federal Diploma as Expert in Accounting and Controlling or a comparable qualification
You bring several years of professional experience in group accounting and are familiar with the requirements for consolidating multiple companies
You already have experience in leadership responsibility
You have sound knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), VAT and tax law for legal entities and ideally experience with consolidation software and Abacus
You convince with a structured and reliable working style
Fluent German language skills are required
