Senior IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

You are looking for a new challenge as a Senior IT System Engineer where you can apply your skills and experience. In this role, you take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems. You ensure system stability and security and work closely with other teams to achieve common goals. You bring your extensive knowledge and experience in IT systems to develop and implement innovative solutions. You are an important part of the IT team and contribute to ensuring that the systems run efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure at all locations
- In this role, you are responsible for server, network, storage, backup, and cloud environments
- As a Senior IT System Engineer, you manage the operation and further development of Microsoft platforms
- You further develop modern digital workplace and client management solutions
- In this position, you are responsible for IT security topics in the infrastructure environment
- You lead the IT System Engineering team with 4 employees both professionally and personally
Qualifications:
- You have completed training as an IT specialist
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience as a system engineer
- You have solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, and client management
- You have very good knowledge in the areas of networking, virtualisation, backup, and IT security
- You have several years of experience operating complex IT infrastructures
- You possess very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
