Linux Engineer (m/f/d)

Our partner is looking for a professional who is jointly responsible for the engineering and management of the Linux and backup infrastructure, supports and further develops platforms on RHEL and OpenShift, and assists with the automation of infrastructure and application processes.
Responsibilities:
Joint responsibility for the engineering and management of the Linux and backup infrastructure
Active further development of the application and container platforms
Ensuring the stable operation of platforms on RHEL and OpenShift
Participation in the development of concepts for the platform
Support in the automation of infrastructure, middleware, and application processes
Responsibility for deployment and application engineering in operations, projects, and releases
Development and operation of the entire Linux and middleware stack
Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge in engineering and operation of Linux platforms
- Experience with backup infrastructure
- Good know-how in automation
- Conceptual, independent, and structured working style
- Quick comprehension, high quality awareness, and solution-oriented working
- Strong conceptual skills and analytical approach
- Experience in engineering and operation of application and container platforms
- Degree in computer science from a university of applied sciences or equivalent experience
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, as well as the ability to understand English documentation
