Abacus Consultant Finance & Accounting (m/f/d)
Role:
A specialised consulting firm is seeking a customer-oriented professional for the implementation of ERP projects in the finance sector. The position combines sound knowledge of accounting with modern IT consulting and offers the opportunity to sustainably support companies in optimising their business processes.
You will independently manage projects from process analysis through technical implementation to user training. Additionally, you will take responsibility for the development of customer relationships and actively contribute to acquiring new mandates.
Responsibilities:
Advising SMEs on the optimisation and digitalisation of their finance and accounting processes
Planning and implementation of Abacus rollouts as well as configuration of relevant modules
Managing customer projects including coordination, scheduling, and progress monitoring
Conducting user training and ongoing customer support
Preparation of reports, project documents, and technical documentation
Identifying customer potential, acquiring new projects, and targeted cross-selling
Qualifications:
Professional training in finance or equivalent practical experience in accounting
Strong IT understanding and interest in ERP systems and digital business processes
Experience with ERP implementations in an SME environment, preferably with Abacus
Analytical thinking, high initiative, and a structured approach
Confident demeanour and enjoyment in personal consulting and collaboration with customers
Fluent German and good English as well as strong sales skills and entrepreneurial thinking
