Role:
You want to technically develop identity platforms, automate access processes and specifically reduce security risks? Here you bring together Microsoft Entra ID, scripting and modern security principles. You ensure that users, applications and privileged accounts are managed securely, efficiently and transparently.
Responsibilities:
Technical support and further development of Microsoft Entra ID as a central identity platform
Configuration and optimisation of authentication, Conditional Access, MFA and risk-based access controls
Automation of user provisioning, group management and permission processes with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
Implementation of identity governance with access reviews, entitlement management and lifecycle workflows
Integration of cloud applications and internal systems into existing authentication structures
Analysis of login issues, identity risks and security-relevant events
Support in the introduction of zero-trust architectures and securing privileged identities
Further development of standards for roles, access rights, service principals and managed identities
Participation in IAM projects, migrations and the replacement of outdated authentication methods
Creation of automations, operational documentation and technical security policies
Qualifications:
Technical training or comparable professional experience in system engineering, computer science or IT security
Practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID and administration of cloud-based identity services
Good knowledge of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API or comparable automation tools
Experience with Active Directory, hybrid identity synchronization and Microsoft 365
Understanding of Conditional Access, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML
Knowledge of identity governance, permission models and privileged access management
Ideally experience with Microsoft Entra ID Protection, PIM and automated lifecycle processes
Security-oriented thinking and a structured approach to analysis and troubleshooting
Initiative, technical curiosity and enjoyment in the continuous improvement of IAM platforms
