A company is seeking an experienced IT professional for the operation and further development of its internal IT infrastructure. You will manage virtual and physical server environments, monitor local systems as well as cloud services, and ensure stable and secure IT operations.
In this role, you analyse technical faults, further develop backup and security solutions, and take responsibility in internal IT projects. You will work with modern Microsoft technologies and various infrastructure components.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of VMware environments as well as physical servers at various locations
Monitoring and optimisation of the local IT infrastructure and the Azure cloud environment
Setup, operation and maintenance of Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions
Analysis and resolution of faults in second-level support
Detection and handling of security incidents as well as implementation of preventive protection measures
Planning and implementation of internal IT projects in collaboration with external partners
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training with EFZ and further education in ICT system technology or comparable qualification
Good knowledge of Windows Server and network technology; Linux knowledge is an advantage
Solid experience with VMware, Veeam, Cisco, PowerShell and SQL
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune and Azure; experience with automation and Logic Apps is an advantage
Independent and structured working style as well as interest in IT security
Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage, and driving licence category B
