Specialist in Structural Preservation
What awaits you:
- Inspect and assess tunnels, retaining structures and other civil engineering works
- Derive appropriate preservation measures and independently carry out maintenance work
- Help shape standards and norms for civil engineering works and historic natural stone structures
- Support project managers in collaboration with external specialists
- Take on technical leadership and represent BLS in specialist groups
- Perform 2-3 night shifts per month when work in rail operations requires it
What you bring with you:
- Training as a construction manager, site manager or technician HF
- Several years of experience in structural preservation, ideally also as a technology manager, client or project author
- A feel for historic natural stone structures and their proper preservation
- Assertiveness, negotiation skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to occasionally work night shifts
