As a Cloud DevOps & Automation Engineer, you develop modern platform and automation solutions for demanding application environments. Your focus is on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Security, and Observability – with the aim of sustainably standardising and automating development and operational processes.
You work at the interface between engineering, architecture, and operations, bringing together various technical and professional requirements. At the same time, you support the team in building DevOps competencies and coordinate collaboration with external technology partners.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimisation of automated deployment processes with Azure DevOps and Terraform
Development of standards for Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, and modern cloud platforms
Establishment and operation of central logging, monitoring, and analytics solutions to improve observability and service quality
Implementation of security requirements concerning secrets, vulnerability management, and secure network architectures
Support of architectural decisions, releases, and changes as well as coordination of external service providers and technical interfaces
Coaching and professional support of teams in CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in DevOps or platform engineering with responsibility for production-critical systems
Very good knowledge of CI/CD, Terraform, Azure DevOps, as well as container and Kubernetes technologies
Experience with secret management, vulnerability management, WAF, and basic security architectures
Experience with modern CMS/web architectures and analytics solutions is an advantage
Independent, analytical, and structured working style as well as strong communication and stakeholder skills
Very good German language skills; knowledge of IAM technologies such as SAML/OIDC, eGovernment standards, SAFe, or supplier management is a plus
