For the management of our animal park (farm animals and birds), we are looking for an animal keeper.

Duration
Assistant contract for a duration of 3 months
Main Mission(s)
Manage the animal park and supervise the animals (farm animals and birds)
Ensure the care of the animals
Maintain and inspect the facilities
Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and materials
Collaborate on maintenance and development of public green spaces
Participate in events
Profile
Certificate of vocational training as an animal keeper or equivalent qualification
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
Professional experience in animal care and supervision
Strong sensitivity to animal welfare and ecology
Ability to operate specific vehicles (tractor, loader, etc.)
Organisational skills and ability to prioritise work
Sense of public service and respect for professional ethics
Proactive, resilient and diligent person capable of working autonomously while fostering team spirit
Comfortable with common office tools (MS Office) and knowledge of an ERP system such as Accorda, BBTA
Special Conditions
Driving licence (category B)
Clean criminal record
Trailer licence BE required, M1 licence (desired)
Year-round on-call service
Winter on-call duty for snow clearance
