What you bring:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Logistics and Distribution Team Leader or Dispatcher in logistics
- Proven initial experience in managing/supervising a team of 10 or more people
- A valid driving licence (category B)
- Excellent command of French essential (both spoken and written), knowledge of German is a real asset.
- Reliable, flexible and stress-resistant personality with an initiative spirit
- Rigorous and structured working method, strong organisational skills
- Experience in leading meetings
- Very good IT skills
- Resident in the region with good knowledge of the Vaud area
Your job:
- Planning and organising delivery rounds in the region
- Managing a team of more than 20 drivers and logisticians
- Coordinating the planning of driver interventions
- Ensuring punctuality and accuracy of goods deliveries
- Developing new synergies in delivery within the Vaud region and neighbouring areas
- Managing, monitoring and analysing stocks
- Organising and processing returns
- General warehouse tasks
- Covering for absences during rounds
- Ensuring careful and responsible use of vehicles and work equipment by the teams
- Continuous development and improvement of logistics processes to optimise operational performance.
