IT Transformation Project Manager (80%)

The Organisation and IT Service (SOI) supports the departments of the City of Lausanne in modernising their IT tools and work processes. From the evolution of business applications to the deployment of new solutions, it leads projects that make daily work easier for teams and help improve services to the public. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an IT project manager ready to take on varied challenges, in collaboration with the different departments of the Lausanne administration.

Main Mission(s)

Lead varied and stimulating IT transformation projects involving one or more City departments;

Gather, analyse and translate business needs into concrete and appropriate solutions;

Support departments in defining and prioritising their requirements;

Develop or coordinate the drafting of specifications and functional requirements;

Organise the deployment of new solutions with the relevant teams and partners;

Encourage the adoption of new solutions by supporting change management and ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.

Profile

Master's degree from EPFL/University of Applied Sciences in computer science or equivalent qualification;

HERMES certification;

Proven experience in IT project management and application design;

Good knowledge of IT architectures in public administration or large organisations, as well as analysis and programming technologies;

Knowledge of Swiss regulations regarding IT security and data protection;

Analytical mindset, autonomy, organisational skills and ability to bring together diverse stakeholders;

Leadership, excellent listening and communication skills;

Good knowledge of English (level B2).
