Carpenter (M/F)

Desired profile:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a carpenter or equivalent training
• Experience in a similar position, in workshop and/or on site is an advantage
• Good command of reading plans and marking techniques
• Knowledge of different wood species and their properties
• Proficiency with conventional woodworking machines
• Good knowledge of CNC machines is an advantage
• Manual dexterity, precision and attention to detail
• Good physical condition
• Organisational skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Category B driving licence is an advantage

• Manufacture various bespoke wooden items in the workshop, according to plans and specifications
• Read and interpret technical plans, execution drawings and specifications
• Choose materials suitable for each project
• Take measurements on site before manufacturing
• Carry out cutting, machining, assembly and mounting of parts on conventional and/or CNC machines
• Ensure installation and assembly of items on site
• Check the quality of manufactured parts and installed items, and make necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with other trades on site
