We are a leading education and research institution in the heart of Zurich, specialising in the development of cutting-edge technologies. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer specialising in PCB design and the development of digital and analogue circuits as well as high-frequency applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and Design: Design and development of digital and analogue circuits, including high-frequency circuits for various applications.
  • PCB Design: Creation and optimisation of PCB layouts for complex circuits, taking into account EMC requirements and signal integrity.
  • Prototyping: Construction and testing of prototypes, conducting circuit simulations and optimisations.
  • Documentation: Preparation of technical documentation, circuit descriptions, and test protocols.
  • Collaboration: Close cooperation with software and system development teams to ensure all components are optimally integrated.
  • Troubleshooting: Conducting fault analyses and troubleshooting at the PCB level as well as optimising existing circuits.

    • Qualifications:

  • Education: Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in the development of digital and analogue circuits as well as PCB design.
  • Expertise: Solid knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g. Altium Designer, Eagle) as well as high-frequency technology and EMC-compliant design.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a precise, detail-oriented working style.
  • Languages: Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as in a team and to develop innovative solutions.
