Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual for a versatile specialist role in finance and accounting. You will take on central tasks in financial accounting and be responsible for various processes. You can independently contribute your expertise and act as a competent contact person for different finance-related matters.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for financial accounting including subsidiary ledgers and ensure correct and reliable processing of ongoing business transactions
You prepare the annual financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, accruals and the required documents for the audit
You support technical questions regarding VAT and ensure correct handling of the related topics
You contribute to accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting and support various tasks in daily operations
You assist in the supervision and professional support of trainees in the finance area
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and further trained in finance and accounting, for example with a federal specialist certificate
You bring several years of professional experience in accounting and have solid experience in financial statement preparation
You have good expertise in VAT; experience with HRM2 or in public accounting is an advantage
You work confidently with MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Abacus is a plus
Fluent German language skills are required
