Site Manager (80-100%) (M/F) Neuchâtel

Our client is a construction company active throughout French-speaking Switzerland. It employs around 40 people. It undertakes new build and renovation projects, mainly in residential housing, often renovating occupied buildings. Its site managers oversee each project from A to Z, including cost calculation. To strengthen its Neuchâtel team, our client is looking for a site manager.

Managing a construction project from preliminary design to handover, while controlling costs, deadlines and quality: this is the core of this role.

• You oversee the completion of a project from start to finish, from preliminary design to the final phase. You are the main point of contact on site.
• You ensure the financial monitoring of your sites. You anticipate discrepancies and ensure budgets are respected.
• You plan all the work, structural and finishing. You coordinate specialists and subcontractors to meet deadlines and expected quality.
• In the renovation of occupied buildings, you organise the site taking into account the residents. You thus contribute to the renovation of the French-speaking Swiss building stock.
• You work closely with management.

• You have training in the construction field: site manager with a higher technical diploma, technician with a higher technical diploma, engineer with a university of applied sciences degree or equivalent training.
• You have broad knowledge of the various trades, from structural work to finishing. An overall vision is more important here than a specialised focus.
• You have experience in site management or site supervision, ideally in renovation and residential housing. A site manager profile wishing to progress towards site direction will also be considered.
• You master cost calculation, planning and financial monitoring of construction sites, within the context of Swiss construction practices and standards.

• You work on varied projects, new builds and renovations, and cover all trades.
• The position can be performed between 80% and 100%.
