Job Description 

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you support the Manager in team management and smooth operations. You take on additional responsibilities to ensure quality, food safety, service and hygiene, and contribute to the restaurant's success. You coach and motivate team members, coordinate priorities and foster a positive and respectful atmosphere. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Lead the team with empathy, respect and patience 
• Communicate openly and manage conflicts constructively 
• Set strategic priorities and coordinate daily operations 
• Coach and support Shift Leaders and Crews for optimal performance 
• Ensure standards of food safety, quality, service, cleanliness and hygiene 
• Use management tools for planning, till operations, orders and inventory 
• Analyse KPIs and support restaurant development initiatives 
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training and staff engagement 
• Handle complaints and create "feel-good" moments for guests 
• Maintain equipment and resolve issues 

Required Qualifications 

• Experience in team management or hospitality appreciated 
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills 
• Analytical mindset, organised and comfortable with technology 
• Proactive, solution-oriented and eager to learn 
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work under pressure 
• Good command of the local language (spoken and written)
