Reference: CLS/RH/2026.785 / Contract type: 100% apprenticeship contract / Hours: according to schedule / Start date: 1 August 2027 / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
What will you be expected to do?
You will participate in the proper management of the restaurant and bar La Véranda and events within the Clinic by providing quality work. You prepare tables, stock buffets, welcome customers, serve drinks and dishes to customers at La Véranda and in patients' rooms. You also ensure service during banquets, receptions and events at the Clinic. You play an important role in welcoming and advising customers, promoting sales and managing goods. You are also responsible for handling sales of items and flowers at our kiosk. You carry out routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.

A team of 6 dynamic and versatile people, professionals from high-end hospitality. The atmosphere is relaxed but committed during busy periods and events. Our services go far beyond the doors of our restaurant La Véranda. The team’s motto: to make our patients forget they are in a clinic.
In this position, you will report to Olivier Tanguy, La Véranda Referent and head of catering apprentices, who has extensive hotel experience. Efficient, caring and attentive, he will support you with confidence and assist you in your daily work and new challenges.

- Certificate of completion of secondary education or current 11th year school attendance certificate
- Rigour, sense of welcome and customer service oriented
- Empathy and interpersonal skills with guests
- Reliable and considerate character
- Communication skills and sense of responsibility
- Calm and friendly even in stressful situations
- Demonstrates regular attendance
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written) and common IT tools
