Laundress / Laundry Attendant

OKJOB HORECA is recruiting an experienced Laundry Attendant for a prestigious private estate located on the left bank of Geneva.

General housekeeping experience alone will not suffice for this position: we are looking for someone with concrete and autonomous mastery of laundry.

- Sorting, washing, drying, ironing and folding linen.
- Taking care of the family’s personal laundry with the utmost care.
- Maintaining high-end household linen: sheets, towels, tablecloths, table linen and other textiles.
- Mastering the careful ironing of shirts, trousers, dresses and delicate garments.
- Identifying different textiles and adapting care methods accordingly.
- Being particularly attentive to noble and delicate materials: silk, cashmere, wool, linen, lace and textiles requiring specific treatment.
- Performing routine stain removal and identifying items requiring the intervention of a specialised service provider.
- Organising and maintaining the laundry in impeccable condition.
- Ensuring the storage and monitoring of linen stocks.
- Preparing linen according to the needs of the family and the various areas of the property.
- Performing, according to skills, minor alterations or simple sewing tasks.
- Working in coordination with the Housekeeper and the entire Housekeeping team.
- Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding the family, their habits and personal effects.

You will join an exceptional private estate, within a structured Housekeeping team accustomed to the highest standards.
