Main mission

Ensure the reception, supervision and support of children aged 4 to 12 outside school hours (morning, lunch and late afternoon), in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

Your responsibilities

• Welcome and supervise registered children
• Ensure their safety and well-being
• Propose and lead activities suitable for their age and development
• Supervise meals in an educational setting
• Promote community living, respect and socialisation
• Actively collaborate with the educational team
• Maintain quality links with partners (parents, teachers, etc.)
• Participate in meetings and team life

Important point – educational meal

As part of your role:

• You are required to share the standard meal offered by the structure,
• This moment is an integral part of the educational mission (exchange, autonomy, learning)

Meals are not a benefit or allowance, but an essential component of the educational role.

Hours

• From 11:00 to 13:40
• As needed: from 15:30 to 18:05
• Work spread over school days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Profile sought

You must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification at CFC level or experience in the socio-educational field (minimum 2 years)
• Proficient in spoken and written French (minimum B2 level required)
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the ability and willingness to work actively in a team
• Have good health suited to the job requirements
• Be able to consume the collective catering food daily
• Reside in the Canton of Geneva or within a maximum radius of 15 km
• Be available 4 lunchtimes for the activity leader substitute position or at least 2 lunchtimes per week for the on-call substitute position
• Strong interest in working with children
• Sense of responsibility and team spirit
• Adaptability and good communication skills
• Kind, reliable and professional attitude
