Role:
You want to take holistic responsibility for accounting and at the same time help shape the future of the finance department? For an innovative Swiss technology company, we are looking for an experienced individual who combines accounting, reporting and process optimisation. In addition to the professional leadership of a small team, you will have plenty of scope to further develop financial processes with modern technologies and AI.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the entire accounting including financial accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment transactions and monthly closings
You lead and develop a small team in accounting and back office professionally
You are responsible for invoicing, dunning and the administrative processes around projects
You prepare the management reporting, monitor budgets and analyse deviations
You optimise and automate finance processes and actively implement new digital solutions
You are the central contact person for accounting and finance topics within the company
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in finance and accounting, ideally with a federal professional certificate
You bring several years of experience in financial accounting as well as in monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
You work confidently with Abacus and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Power Query or data models is an advantage
You have experience in professional leadership
You have very good German and good English skills
