Role:
Position as Senior Linux Systems Engineer (80-100%) to be filled at our ROCKEN® partner from the retail sector.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer, you ensure the operation and further development of the platform.
- You install, maintain applications, identify and fix security vulnerabilities, and independently manage the NAS.
- As a member of the Technical Advisory Board, you advise IT management on strategic matters.
- As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer, you lead IT projects and are responsible for their successful implementation.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist with a focus on system technology, ideally with a federal diploma.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer in a comparable environment.
- Solid Linux knowledge is essential, VMware vSphere knowledge is an advantage.
- Understanding of IT security and data protection is essential, as well as fluent German skills.
