Exciting tasks await:

• You lead interdisciplinary, interdepartmental projects and prepare reports and presentations for the State Secretary and the Government Council.
• You develop the cantonal long-term planning (development guideline of the Government Council) and accompany its implementation in cooperation with the departments.
• You review strategic matters of the departments in the co-reporting procedure.
• You prepare statements on selected parliamentary initiatives of the Grand Council and on federal consultations.
• You comment, in cooperation with the departments, on the maintenance or write-off of pending parliamentary initiatives.

What you bring:

• You have a completed university master’s degree and have worked for at least five years in a comparable role in public administration.
• You are interested in economic, social and environmental future issues and specifically in Aargau politics.
• You think strategically, work in a structured and precise manner.
• You appreciate teamwork but also independent conceptual and project work.
• You express yourself confidently and appropriately in writing and orally, have a high level of commitment and service orientation, and want to engage long-term.

The State Chancellery supports and advises the entire Government Council. It plans, organises and coordinates government processes comprehensively, i.e. including all operational, communicative, legal and strategic issues.
