Modern Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
For an international IT environment, an experienced individual is sought as a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer. In this role, you take on the technical responsibility for modern workplace platforms and shape their development from classic client management solutions to a cloud-based environment.
You work closely with IT support, internal stakeholders, and international project teams. In addition to technical operations, standardisation, automation, and continuous optimisation of workplace processes are the focus.
Responsibilities:
Technical support and further development of the Microsoft workplace platform with Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot
Support of 1st-level support as a technical contact person for more complex workplace issues
Accompanying the migration from classic SCCM structures to modern, cloud-based management solutions
Development, documentation, and standardisation of workplace processes and best practices
Automation and optimisation of recurring IT processes in the client and workplace environment
Participation in national and international IT projects as well as coordination with various stakeholders
Qualifications:
Completed IT training at EFZ level or higher and at least 3 years of professional experience in the Microsoft workplace environment
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot
Experience in automating and optimising IT processes
Ability to communicate technical matters appropriately for the audience as well as to create presentations and reports
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong team and communication skills
Very good German and good English skills as well as willingness to travel internationally occasionally
